Tulips

Posted On 07-03-2010 , 9:30 AM

Nothing says springtime like a garden of rainbow-colored tulips. These premium, extra-large bulbs produce flowers that are 25% larger than conventional tulips a full 5" tall on sturdy, 26" stems. Unlike other tulips, which usually flower for just a year or two, these bulbs act like perennials, and will rebloom each spring for five years or more. Tulips originated from holland and are known to be a favourite spring beauty. I like to blend these in with my hyacinth's. The reason being is because the hyacinth has that distinct smell and the tulips have the extra beauty. Together they make a beautiful spring garden.
